The IBEW installed 600 made in Michigan, Suniva 290w solar panels on their roof. This 174kW solar array covers the roof of the building. The electronics are made by SolarEdge, who makes the most efficient inverter system on the market. It’s also the safest system available and it exceeds code requirements through the 2017 version of NEC. This system will produce over 200,000kWh a year of peak power. Peak power is power that is generated when the grid is at peak demand. This system will reduce stress on the surrounding electric grid, making everyone more secure.
